I Can't Stop Shaking My Head

You know, my heart goes out to any sufferers of tragedy, so those in Indonesia who have been killed or displaced by the quake get my sympathy. But here we are, months and months after the Pakistan quake that killed some 80,000+ people, and there are still more than 100,000 expected to remain homeless this coming winter -- which will be more than a year after the catastrophe struck, one of the worst catastrophes of our time. And where's the fucking help? Nowhere to be found, really. It seems that we're given the opportunity to put our money where our mouths are and help a primarily Islamic nation overcome a massive tragedy, and instead, we just buried our head in the sand and kept saying, "Katrina, Katrina!"
